Shannon Oriole - LIM College

Describing her initial interest in retail, Shannon said she found herself raising her hand on the first day of a fashion class when a professor asked who would want to pursue a career in the industry. After taking classes Merchandise Planning and Control, and Buying, she realized retail was the industry for her. Working hard to reach her goal of becoming a buyer, her professor Marla Greene wrote in her letter of recommendation that, "Shannon welcomes a challenge with a smile and is able to balance, school, internships, tutoring, and becoming a team leader with effortlessness, all while maintaining a 3.95 GPA."

The last thing I tweeted was...
"One of those time when I just look around and realize how much I love my life."
If I could be a kid again, I...
would hold a kickball tournament, and not have a care in the world.
The only thing I can't live without is...
ice cream. By far the best cure for anything.
My favorite thing about college is...
the fact that I live in New York City. New York is so full of life and excitement, and the best place to be for my career.
My motto/mantra is...
"Fall down seven times, stand up eight," and, "But first, coffee."
